What is Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution focused hypnotherapy is a combination of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. It is a very positive and forward-thinking approach to solving fears, anxiety and negative thinking that hinder and block our life’s journey.
I work with you in an encouraging and supportive way to bring about the positive changes that you would like to see happen in your life.
I use a combination of techniques from neuro-linguistic programming, mindfulness, and the latest brain-based theories in neuroscience.
Hypnotherapy is a beautifully calm and relaxing experience which aims to provide solutions to your problems fears or phobias, quickly and safely at a pace that is right for you.
During these sessions hypnotherapy will help you experience this perfectly natural process which involves helping you to become relaxed, deep in thought and heighten your focus. This is something we are all familiar with and experience daily such as when watching TV, going walking or driving. The benefits of this, known as trance, allow you to feel relaxed enough to drift into memories, being in a safe and happy place and to pursue dreams and future plans. It is during this time that we can help resolve unwanted patterns of behaviour, your fears, phobias, and problem states that are causing you distress.

Are you ready to make positive changes and book your initial consultation? The first session gives me the opportunity to learn where you are now and what the vision is for your preferred future. We learn about how the brain works, how hypnotherapy works and what to expect. You also receive a free relaxation download for personal use and various coping techniques to help you in between sessions and to use within future sessions.
Options Available:
~ Free introductory chat
~ Initial Sample Consultation £60 (this includes a relaxation recording , breathing excercises and a number of coping techniques to use between sessions.) Allow 90 minutes.
~ Following sessions (1 hour) £60
The number of sessions will vary, for example the treatment of phobia or trauma recommends 4-6 sessions, treatment of depression or anxiety may require 8-12 sessions approximately.

FAQs
Is hypnotherapy like stage hypnosis?
Solution-focused hypnotherapy is NOT the same as stage hypnosis, here the idea is for you to be in control and make the changes that you want, allowing you to achieve your wonderful life goals.
Can I be influenced in the hypnotic state?
No. You cannot be influenced to do anything against your will.
Will I be put to sleep?
No. You will remember the process of the sessions, you are not asleep at any point, there are no causes for concern, you can always speak whilst in hypnosis.
Who can partake in this therapy?
Everyone can partake in this therapy unless you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or experiencing psychotic episodes and are currently seeking psychiatric help.
